Professional Learning

Ohio’s regional State Support Teams offer administrators, educators, and support staff a variety of technical assistance, coaching, networking, and professional development opportunities throughout the year. All State Support Team training activities are offered free of charge. 

Registration

Registration for our professional learning courses is available online. Links may be found on each of the individual event listings on our professional learning calendar. If you need assistance registering for a course, please contact Jill Barnhisel, or call 419.720.8999.

Attendance Requirements for Continuing Education Credits (CEU)

Contact hours will only be awarded for participation in a live in-person or online session. We cannot issue credit for viewing any session recordings.

Meals & Personal Comfort

Food and beverages are not provided during state-sponsored presentations. This is a state policy and applies to all sessions sponsored by the State Support Team Region 1 and the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. You are permitted to bring snacks and beverages to training sessions held at our Collingwood Boulevard location.

While we do our best to keep our building temperatures comfortable for all of our visitors, preferences can vary. We recommend dressing in layers for your comfort.

Inclement Weather

We ask that you remain mindful of weather conditions. If hazardous driving conditions exist, call 800.346.8495 after 6:30 a.m. to learn if your workshop is delayed or cancelled.

Should you feel conditions are too unsafe to travel, please leave a message to let us know you won’t be attending.
